Dr. Mark Noori

Dr. Mehrdad (Mark) Noori earned his doctoral degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry (USC) in 2008, after receiving his bachelor degree in Biology from UCLA in 2003. Graduating in the top 5% of his class, Dr. Noori set out to change the old image of dentistry, as a result making visits to the dentist a more comfortable and less stressful experience.

He is very passionate about dentistry and never cease to be fascinated by the most complex treatment needs and has always been on the cutting edge of the rapidly changing field. Practicing superior restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Noori is regarded as one of the leading cosmetic dentists, having been responsible for the creation of many beautiful smiles. As a very gentle and caring dentist, he completes an average of 75 continuing education hours annually to ensure he stays ahead of latest techniques in his field. While Dr. Noori enjoys all aspects of dentistry, the art of cosmetic dentistry as well as full mouth reconstruction remain his main passion.

Dr. Rene Shakhshir

Dr. Rene graduated from dental program in Algeria almost 17 years ago, but upon relocating to the United States, she continued her education to become a California board certified Dentist in 2023. She brings to South Gate Dentistry her clinical experience as the owner of her own dental clinic in Amman, Jordan plus hands on training while becoming board certified. Dr. Rene’s passion is the care and treatment of her patients while making them comfortable and confident in her experienced hands.

She treats each patient as a unique individual, each with their own treatment needs and concerns that Dr. Rene patiently takes into consideration while providing compassion and attention to the Patient-Doctor relationship. She has developed expertise in various dental procedures, including preventive care and functional esthetic dentistry. With a passion for dentistry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, Dr. Rene believes in a comprehensive approach to oral health and works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs and goals. Dr. Rene is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the San Gabriel Dental Society.

Hello to all our patients. My name is Rafa and I am the treatment and financial coordinator at South Gate Dentistry & Orthodontics. I have been in this field for almost twenty years now and I truly enjoy what I do. I love helping our patients find a way to get their necessary treatments completed while doing my best to maximize their insurance benefits.

I always try to give our patient’s the best financial options and do my best to minimize their out of pocket costs. I am proud to be able to help so many patients get their treatment completed and have a healthy mouth and beautiful smile.

Hello and welcome to our office. My name is Evelyn and I am the office manager at South Gate Dentistry & Orthodontics with over ten years of experience in dental field. I consider myself a people person and I enjoy working with everyone in our team as well as all our patients.
